SYNDICATES

Our syndicates are designed to be very personal and social and we encourage involvement from all our members.

After the successful launch of Venetia Williams Racehorses Syndicates I last year, for which all shares were sold, we are delighted to offer shares in Syndicate II, please see below for more information.

It is important to us that owners feel involved and enjoy their racehorse ownership.  In the first year of our syndicate we had many stable visits; monthly visits to race meetings regardless of whether our horse was running or not;  a private tour of behind the scenes at Cheltenham racecourse;  a visit to Tweenhills Stud Farm and lunch;  and a two day visit to Newmarket including the Tattersalls Sales.

“Venetia is such a brilliant trainer.  Everyone in the yard is so friendly and welcoming with happy, contented horses.  Christina, the syndicate manager, is so efficient at sending us regular updates and arranging such interesting extras for our very sociable syndicate.
We are having such a great time”.

Joy and Ron Howlett, Syndicate I (Coudefoudre) Owner

VENETIA WILLIAMS RACEHORSE SYNDICATES II

THIS SYNDICATE IS NOW SOLD OUT

YALLTARI by KAYF TARA ex LILY GREY (FR)

His dam was placed once from three NH runs, and is a Selle Francais (SF) mare, which is the traditional French steeplechase breed, as are many of the top French bred chasers, including Mon Mome.

His sire, Kayf Tara, has been the champion British based NH stallion for many years and his first Cheltenham Festival winner, Kayf Aramis, was trained by Venetia.  Progeny of Kayf Tara include Special Tiara, Tea for Two, Thistlecrack and Blaklion.  The dam, Lily Grey, is owned by Venetia and this gelding is a home bred.

He was broken in last year and has completed all of his early youngster training.  He will be ready for hurdling for the season 2016-2017, prior to going chasing the following season.  Standing at 16.2hh, he has a great stride and athleticism, and has a bold attitude which is essential for the demands of NH racing.

This Syndicate Ownership includes:

  • Owners have the opportunity to choose the name of the horse.

“As a complete newcomer to syndicate ownership and a relative novice to racing, I had no idea what to expect. It was made
really easy for me.
It helped enormously that Christina regularly sent out information on interesting racing matters and kept me informed on
the progress of my horse as well as arranging numerous stable visits, race meetings and a fascinating visit to a stud farm.
I have enjoyed every minute of it and am looking forward to the next season.”
