Scorpion ex Mangan Rose

Jack Valentine’s sire, Scorpion, is highly respected.  His progeny include  Might Bite, the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner up, and Don’t Touch It.  He was bought after his racecourse debut, a bumper at Listowel, where he finished second, a length behind the winner, Scaglietti, a Willie Mullins trained horse who has gone on to win since.

Jack Valentine is a good moving horse and stands at 16.1hh.  He comes from the pointing yard of Sam Curling, the same yard of Summerville Boy who won the Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham last year as a 6yo.  His half brother, That’ll Do Me, who sadly died at the age of 6, won twice over hurdles at Thurles and Punchestown.

This young horse is an exciting prospect.
